Overview
The park groups rides into themed lands and keeps a tiger enclosure run with Sydney’s Taronga as a conservation partnership. A river-rapids accident in 2016 killed four people and closed the park briefly; it was rebuilt under new ownership with the ride removed and safety rules overhauled, and the coroner’s findings drove changes across the industry. Highlights
Steel Taipan is the newest coaster, a launched triple-launch layout with a backwards section. Tiger Island holds keeper presentations several times a day. Corroboree, the wildlife area, has koalas and crocodiles and is the calm half of the park.
