Overview
The most hedonistic of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza built its fame on the superclubs and beach bars that draw a summer crowd from across Europe. But the island is more than the nightlife: its capital keeps a walled old town, Dalt Vila, of World Heritage rank above the harbour, and the north is a gentler landscape of pine hills, farmland and hidden coves. Warm and dry, it is a party island and a beach island at once, quietest in spring and autumn.
