The Moche painted the dress of lords, with ear ornaments and headdresses, on fine ceramics. The Nazca made brightly coloured textiles, and the Wari and Tiwanaku the geometric tapestry tunic. Featherwork and gold ornaments adorned elite dress.
Transition
In the late pre-Inca age, kingdoms such as the Chimú carried on the traditions of weaving and goldwork.
